Cargo and logistics

Logistics for General and Bulk Cargo

Logistics for dry bulk and general cargo at Philippine ports, from discharge planning to delivery. Coal, steel, sugar, project cargo and more since 1976.

Cargo logistics connects the ship, the port and the receiver into one plan. V. Faytaren Shipping Agency coordinates logistics for dry bulk and general cargo at Batangas and other Philippine ports, along with chartering and dry cargo brokerage support for our principals.

What our bulk cargo logistics service covers

Bulk and general cargo both come with their own headaches. Bulk cargo like coal moves in huge volumes and depends on grabs, hoppers and steady trucking. General and project cargo moves in fewer pieces, but each one can be heavy, awkward or fragile. In both cases, a gap between the ship and the shore side costs time.

Our work starts before the vessel arrives. We confirm the berth and the cargo handling setup with the terminal, line up trucks and equipment, and agree reporting with the receivers. During operations we follow progress shift by shift, deal with problems on the spot, and keep everyone working from the same numbers.

Since 1976 we have handled a wide range of cargo through Philippine ports, including coal for a power plant at Calaca, bagged sugar, hot-rolled steel plates at Bacnotan, live cattle from Australia and a 500-ton generator for a power plant in Quezon. We also support logistics for chemical transport, chartering and dry cargo brokerage.
