When a vessel is at anchor, everyone and everything going aboard needs a boat. V. Faytaren Shipping Agency arranges launch and ferry boat services for crew, surveyors, officials and small supplies at Batangas Bay anchorages and other Philippine ports.
What our crew ferry boat service covers
Many vessels in Batangas Bay wait or work at anchor rather than alongside a pier. A crew change, a survey, a visit from the authorities or a box of urgent spares can all hinge on having a reliable launch at the right time, with someone on board who knows the vessel is expecting them.
We book the boat, confirm the vessel's position and boarding side with the master, and send a liaison officer with the crew or visitors when needed. Trips are timed around daylight and sea conditions, because safety on the transfer comes first, especially for seafarers carrying heavy bags.
Launch services work hand in hand with our crew change and husbanding work. One appointment can cover the clearances, the land transport and the boat, so the master is not juggling separate suppliers.

Frequently asked questions
Can the launch carry supplies as well as people?
Yes, within the boat's safe limits. Documents, small spares and provisions can go out with crew or on a separate trip.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Transfers are rescheduled when sea conditions make boarding unsafe. We keep the master and owners informed and rebook as soon as conditions allow.
Do you provide launches outside Batangas?
Yes. We arrange launch services at the other Philippine ports where we act as agent.
Is the launch service part of crew change?
It can be. Most crew changes at anchor include the launch, and we can quote it with the clearances and land transport.
