Some cargo cannot move with the ship's own gear alone. V. Faytaren Shipping Agency arranges mobile cranes, forklifts and other cargo handling equipment for port operations and heavy lifts at Batangas and other Philippine ports.
What our crane rental service covers
Ship's cranes have limits, and not every berth has shore cranes that suit the job. Project cargo, heavy machinery and awkward pieces often need a mobile crane on the quay, sometimes working in tandem with the ship's gear. Smaller items may only need forklifts, but they still have to be there on time.
We arrange the equipment that fits the lift, confirm capacity and positioning with the terminal, and schedule it with the discharge plan so the crane is ready when the cargo is. For heavy lifts we work with the cargo owner and the lifting contractor on the plan before the vessel arrives.
This service ties in closely with our trucking and logistics work. When we moved a 500-ton power generator for a power plant project in Quezon, the lift, the transport and the documents all had to line up. That is the kind of coordination we bring to each job, large or small.
