Bunkering Services: Marine Fuel and Lube Oil Supply

Marine fuel and lube oil supply through Faytaren Marine Enterprise: ADO, MGO, fuel oil and lube oil, with bunkering permits filed with BOC, PPA and Coast Guard.

Bunkers are supplied by our sister company, Faytaren Marine Enterprise.

Bunkering is the supply of fuel and lubricants to a ship. Our sister company, Faytaren Marine Enterprise, supplies automotive diesel oil, marine gas oil, fuel oil and lube oil to vessels, and processes the bunkering permits needed from the Bureau of Customs, the Philippine Ports Authority and the Philippine Coast Guard.

What our bunkering service covers

Fuel is one of the largest costs of any voyage, and a bunkering delay can hold up a ship that is otherwise ready to sail. Getting it right means having the product, the delivery, and the permits lined up at the same time.

Faytaren Marine Enterprise works side by side with V. Faytaren Shipping Agency. That means the agent who is handling your port call is the same team arranging your bunkers. We confirm grades and quantities with the chief engineer, schedule the delivery around cargo work, and file the permits with Customs, PPA, the Coast Guard and any other agency involved.

Permits are often the part that catches vessels out. Bunkering in Philippine ports needs government approval, and the requirements depend on the product, the vessel's status and the location. Because we file these regularly, we know what each office expects and how far ahead to start.

Truck-to-ship bunkering for a bulk carrier at the pier

A bulk carrier moored at the pier took on marine fuel straight from a tanker truck parked on the quay. Hoses ran from the truck to the vessel's bunker manifold while the transfer was watched from the quay and from on deck.
